Fishermans Bend Business Forum (FBBF) has had an exciting 12 months, thanks to the support and contribution of its voluntary committee. We have continued to advocate for outcomes that benefit Fishermans Bend and shine a spotlight on businesses in the precinct.

Over the past year, we have hosted a series of events and tours that have successfully promoted businesses and investment opportunities into Fishermans Bend. In addition, the FBBF committee has been meeting regularly with State, Local, and Federal Government to build momentum within the Fishermans Bend business community and ensure that the key ongoing issues remain top of mind at all levels.

The highlight of our year was our C-Suite invitation-only thought leadership and innovation event held in the SkyBar at the Oakwood Hotel. It was fantastic to see a full house! As part of the panel event, significant ideas arose regarding skills shortages, upskilling, and training options, as well as ensuring that talent that comes to the Bend has a reason to stay.

The future is bright for FBBF, with exciting events in the pipeline, tours, and opportunities for further collaboration and engagement with other businesses in Fishermans Bend.

In the future, we aim to strengthen our committee by welcoming more members over the next 12 months. The organisation will continue to engage and advocate for the issues that matter most, with mobility and mass public transport remaining top of our list.

We’re always looking for local businesses who would like to get involved and we encourage interested parties to reach out.

Guy Naselli, the new Vice President of Fishermans Bend Business Forum

“After serving as an active committee member for a several years, it is humbling to nominated and be accepted to the Vice President role within the Fisherman’s Bend Business Forum.

Spending most of my commercial property career in Port Melbourne, I understand Fisherman’s Bend, what businesses and the precinct needs to lead the nation in innovation, set benchmarks for sustainability and highlight property related matters.

I remain passionate about building connections between our Members and advocating for issues affecting Fisherman’s Bend businesses.  I welcome the opportunity to learn more about the issues effecting our members with business in Fisherman’s Bend and grow our exposure.

I look forward to the next chapter and continuing the work of this wonderful team.”
