Congratulations to Aileen Natasha, Anastasia Jesica, and Dennis Jonathan, whose project Eco Spark won first place in the group category of the 2024 YourMelbourne Student Competition! Hosted by BMW Australia in partnership with University of Melbourne and RMIT University, the competition invites students to develop innovative and sustainable visions for Melbourne in 2030, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The winning entry, Eco Spark, reimagines Fishermans Bend—Australia’s largest urban renewal precinct—as a hub of sustainability and connectivity. The proposal tackled key challenges such as mobility, tourism, and waste management, offering a transformative plan grounded in the area's unique history and future potential.
