Guy, what can you tell us about yourself and your work outside Fishermans Bend Business Forum?

I have almost 25 years of experience across the world’s largest commercial real estate firms, leading residential agencies and coupled with a Bachelor of Building Engineering, I am the founder and Managing Director of NSL Property Group, that specialises in sales and leasing whilst offering outstanding performance and productivity in all facets of the property industry, including but not limited to, vendors, purchasers, landlords and tenants. I specialise in the locations of Port Melbourne, South Melbourne, and the great Fisherman’s Bend region.

Why did you join the Fishermans Bend Business Forum?

Working in the area for many years, there was a real connection with many of the businesses that operate within the precinct, so it was a natural evolution to be involved in assisting these businesses and the struggles they face within the community within a formal board setting.

What projects have you worked on during your time as a board member?

I’ve been involved with many activities, with the highlight to date being the innovation and technology start-up events held in Normanby Street, and meeting with the Minister Brooks most recently advocating for further funding for the Fishermans Bend Business Forum.

What’s the best part about working/living in Fishermans Bend?

Watching small enterprise and businesses grow into world leading companies and looking at the potential of the Fishermans Bend area grow as infrastructure and other gentrified suburbs have grown.

What are the most pressing issues?

Public Transport. It’s very simple, ‘build it and they will come’.

Where is the best coffee in Fishermans Bend?

Coe & Coe, 1 Fennel Street, Port Melbourne.
