The Fishermans Bend Business Forum stands united in supporting initiatives to unlock our community’s potential. The City of Port Phillip Council’s unwavering commitment to a brighter future for Fishermans Bend deeply resonates with us.

The Fishermans Bend Framework 2018 is a testament to our collective vision, spotlighting effective transport infrastrucre solutions, expansive open spaces, and vital infrastructure tailored to our present and future needs. This comprehensive masterplan was a result of harmonious collaboration among the Council, the Victorian Government, developers, and key stakeholders.

However, certain crucial elements, such as Light Rail and Metro Rail, have yet to come to fruition. We firmly believe that robust transportation systems are the cornerstone for Fishermans Bend’s transformation into a world-class hub for living, working, and recreation.

The 2018 Framework delineates vital open spaces, infrastructure, and transport connections. However, as we progress into the latter half of 2023, progress on pledged developments has remained limited, despite prior commitments for completion by 2025. To effect change, Council urges the community to email Minister Jacinta Allan at jacinta.allan@parliament.vic.gov.au, urging State Government support for Fishermans Bend’s progress.

Our collective efforts and persistent advocacy are vital to shaping a vibrant, sustainable future for Fishermans Bend.
